Wedding Photography by Larry Plumlee, Master Craftsman Photographer

Thank you for your interest in wedding photography by Larry Plumlee, Master Craftsman Photographer. Larry is the photographer at Plumlee Photography, Inc., which he has operated full time since 1979. He has been photographing weddings for over 35 years (he began his wedding photography career as a teenager)! Never content to rest on his past accomplishments, he is always studying the newest styles and techniques of wedding photography to make sure you get the latest in current styles.
Larry's extensive experience as a portrait and wedding photographer allows him to create a variety of images of the wedding, from the current candid trend, to elegant classic photos that exhibit creative lighting and beautiful natural color. He understands how to adapt to unique, and often difficult, lighting situations that often occur in wedding photography, and to create a set of wedding photos with consistent quality.
But Larry's main concern in photographing a wedding, is for the bride and groom to have a wonderful time. We want to help create and capture images of the most happy day of your lives!

We have wedding packages that cover about any need. Packages include albums, DVD's only (with copyright license to print your own photos) or a combination of both. Album packages begin at just $1,250. Also available are coverages for smaller weddings that begin at just $500 (may not be available on all date, call for details).

One big suggestion we'd make in choosing your wedding photographer is, make sure you see samples or an album of one entire wedding, from start to finish. Don't just pick a photographer because you've seen a few cool photos from several different weddings. Often times a photographer will just want to show you a "Best Of" wedding gallery, but ask to see an album of one wedding. Look closely to see how well the photos tell the story of the wedding. We are very proud of our wedding albums. Larry's daughter, Kelly Dwyer, is our graphic design artist. After your wedding, she'll create a layout of your album. We'll print a sample proof book. Sometimes a bride will say, "It's perfect, don't make any changes". But usually, a bride will a half dozen or so changes. This makes it very easy and simple for you!
We are available for wedding at any location. In addition to local weddings, we've photographed weddings in several states, including Texas, Florida, and even Washington D.C.!

Vanhook-Perkins Wedding, Destin, FL

Yes, we do destination weddings!
We traveled to Destin, FL the end of July for the wedding of Eric and Ashley. It was a beautiful sunset wedding on the beach.
In my 35+ years of photographing weddings, I think this is the first one I've photographed bare footed!

Mann-Butler Wedding....Berryville, AR

In June, we photographed the wedding of Mallory Mann and Kent Butler. We've known both families for many years, having done senior and wedding photos. Mallory's mom, Donesa, is a distant cousin (her Grandma Williams and my Grandma Shahan were somehow related). Kent's uncle, Harvey Butler, was pastor of our church at one time, and was the minister who married Lajunta and I.
Reception followed in the church fellowship hall.

LeHew-Martz Wedding.....Washington DC

Yes, we will travel to do weddings!
Delisa, the bride, has been a client and good friend of Plumlee Photography for many years. When she decided to have her wedding in Washington DC, she really wanted us to do the photos. The wedding was held at Fort Myers. Wedding reception was held in their home. We also went down town and did a few photos around some of the monuments. Lynn proposed to Delisa at the Lincoln memorial, so we did a few photos there.

Lockhart/O'Brien Wedding

For the wedding of Kyla Lockhart and Kyle O'Brien, we traveled to Nashville, TN. We've photographed Kyla and her family for many years. They are from Eureka Springs. Ceremony and reception were held at the Riverwood Mansion.

Scarrow-Plumlee Wedding...Berryville, AR

On March 17, 2012, I photographed the wedding of my nephew, Matt Plumlee. He married Misha Scarrow, from Berryville.
Ceremony and reception was held at the Towering Oaks Church. Several years ago, Matt helped me in the studio and at weddings. He's now on the fire department in Nevada, MO.
